Reading bliss

I just finished the Fifth Sacred Thing by Starhawk and am so grateful, Laura, for this absolute gift.

For me, this book invited vision, hope, clarity, imagination, and love. It met me precisely where I am  while nudging me towards greater commitment to my emerging values. Blending feminism, ecology, social justice, peace activism, religious tolerance, mysticism, and liberation movements together to paint a picture of a world in the midst of questioning whether it can survive against the constructs of war, power, and control from outside forces, this was a great story if not platform for posing questions of the world.

Now that I am finished, I find myself missing the characters as I go throughout my day.

Lilia, Bradie, Rita, and Erin (Laus, you too), please read it so we can talk about it!
